Job Description:

• Performing 3D measurements using advanced measuring equipment
• Ensuring accurate measurements and maintaining technical quality
• Interpreting measurement data and translating it into useful information for the project team

Job Requirements:

• Completed MBO-level 4 technical education
• Affinity with technology and measuring equipment
• Experience with 3D measurements is a plus, but not required

Kortels Maritime Engineering is part of the Kortels group in which we are key partners in the yacht-building industry. Kortels Maritime Engineering is looking for an Interior Engineer. You are at the beginning of your career and want to be part of a young innovative team. As a draughtsman in the Interior Engineering department, we ensure that the design of the architect or client is converted into a basic design for the interiors of yachts. To realize this, we bring together all the info available in a basic design. From the hull drawing of the yacht to the electrical plans and air treatment. Together with all the information we work out everything step by step with the end result being workable production drawings for interior paneling. As Interior Engineer you are the spider in the web that ties all the information together for an efficient production process and a stunning end result.

Job Description:

• You make working drawings for production
• Convert designs of the architect to workable production plans.
• Make bills of material for the benefit of the purchase
• Making visual drawings of various spaces for the agreement site
• Making detailed drawings
• Creating and maintaining project libraries

Job Requirements:

• An MBO education in interior or furniture construction
• Command of the English and Dutch language in word and writing
• A good knowledge of AutoCAD
• Experience with 3D software is an advantage

Job Vacancy: BIM-Engineer

Kortels BIM Engineering designs and calculates temporary steel structures, including main scaffolding. These are not just any scaffolds, as you know them from residential construction. These are gigantic complex scaffolds in yacht building, offshore, and utility construction and can be up to 50 meters high.

Job Description:

Kortels BIM Engineering specializes in the design and calculation of temporary steel structures, with a focus on intricate scaffolding systems. Our projects are not your typical residential scaffolds; they are massive and complex, often reaching heights of up to 50 meters. Job Requirements:

• Experience with Revit is advantageous.

Kortels BIM-Engineering is part of the Kortels Group and a key partner in the yacht building and industry. We are looking for an experienced Constructor with a structural understanding and a specialised background in structures. As a Structural Engineer at Kortels BIM-Engineering, you will play a crucial role in designing and optimising temporary steel structures for our clients. You will work on challenging projects where you will be responsible for the design, calculation and analysis of various temporary steel structures.

Job Description:

• Design, calculate and analyse temporary structures
• Check technical drawings and 3D models for structural stability, stiffness and strength
• Perform technical calculations and simulations using advanced software tools
• Providing technical advice and support to internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations and guidelines

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Structural Engineer in a similar role
• Strong construction understanding and a college background in a relevant field
• Specialised knowledge of and experience with structures
• Experience with Revit and Scia Engineer is required
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
• Experience with BIM engineering and familiarity with relevant software tools is an advantage
• VCA is a plus
